The Doberman:
This is a very famous breed. Known for his fierce nature and agility, he was also bred to be an excellent guard dog. Again, just like the dogs, these dogs too can have a good family life as they are big softies. They make excellent family pets as they are loving, loyal, and very generous.
Since this is a large dog, he needs to be exercised quite a lot daily. You would be surprised to know that the Doberman was first bred to work as a tax collector. The person who first bred this dog was named Louis Doberman. He was a tax collector and wanted someone by his side who could protect him. Thus, his namesake, the Doberman came into existence in the nineteenth century.
Temperament:
Since both Doberman and Rotties are very similar in how they behave, unlike almost all other mixes, the Doberman Rottweiler Mix is the most predictable. You know who you are getting, and you get just that, no surprises here.
If you are getting him from a breeder, you get to know his parents, but if you are adopting him, be wary that he might have some other mixes in him. This could lead to slight fluctuation in his temperament. Which is not such a bad thing, is it?

Doberman mixed puppies are an uncomplicated lot. Even with their robust and angry look, they are extremely lovable. They are very low maintenance and need very less grooming, but on the other hand, they would need a lot of exercises. So, if your family is outdoorsy, this would be a perfect dog for you. It does not matter if you have kids or other animals, he works great with both. Of course, since he is a large dog, if you have a sizeable sized home with a yard, it would be an added advantage. However, the best part is there is almost no grooming requirement; you would just need to bathe him once in awhile and brush his coat if it seems matted.
